New Office Building in Market Harborough

A new office building nearing completion in Market Harborough has been praised in a report by a construction watchdog.

The Considerate Constructors’ Scheme has scored The ‘Grow On Space’
development at Compass Point Business Park as ‘exceptional’ in 4 areas and ‘excellent’ in another.

Its independent auditors monitor sites around the country against the Scheme’s Site Code of Considerate Practice.

It says The ‘Grow on Space’ project, being built by Harborough District Council in conjunction with contractors Wilmott Dixon, has shown respect for the community and the environment – including outreach events for local residents.

When completed later this year, it’s anticipated the new office building will create around 230 jobs, and bring an estimated £20 million into the local economy over the next five years.”
