New Homes Plan Set For Refusal

Councillors are being urged to reject plans to build 400 new houses in Kibworth.
Planning officers at Harborough Council have a number of concerns about the development, proposed for 81 acres of fields between Wistow Road and Warwick Road.

They say it would have a severe impact on traffic in the area and on the landscape, adding the village has already met its housing allocation target.
A planning application by Manor Oak Homes, which also includes a new Primary School, is being recommended for refusal next week.
