New Estate To Get Bus Service From Monday

Residents living on the Wellington Place housing estate in Market Harborough will get a bus service from Monday.
Arriva X3 buses will begin serving the area off Leicester Road, so people can travel into the town centre or towards Leicester.
Cash from housing developers is helping to fund the additional route, which will see buses entering and exiting the estate via Peter Callis Way.
Arriva buses will serve the Wellington Place estate from Monday.
Arriva will also introduce a Sunday service on the X3 route from next week, which is good news for residents in Great Glen.
Harborough MP Neil O’Brien has been campaigning for the village to be served by buses on Sundays, as although Stagecoach X7 buses also run between Market Harborough and Leicester on a Sunday, they do not serve the village.
He has welcomed the announcement.
Arriva says its timetable will continue to coordinate with Stagecoach X7 services and tickets will continue to be accepted across both operators.
