New Bus Service Operator Encourages People To Get On Board

Stagecoach has begun running Market Harborough’s town bus service today and says people should get on board.
The firm was awarded the contract by Leicestershire County Council, who subsidise the number 33 route.

A spokesman for Stagecoach told HFM: “We’re delighted to be running the 33 on behalf of Leicestershire County Council and expanding our services in the area.
“Buses provide vital links or our communities and with the rising price of fuel there’s never been a better time for people to try the bus.
“We look forward to welcoming new customers on board.”
The timetable for service 33 remains the same, although Stagecoach will now number buses 33A, 33B and 33C for different parts of the route, which also serves Great Bowden.
