MHBS Celebrates HQ’s Use As Community Hub

Market Harborough Building Society is celebrating the first anniversary of moving to a new HQ and creating space for the community.

The society opened up the doors of Newcombe House on The Point Business Park for charities, community groups and clubs to use for free, after re-locating from separate offices in the town centre.

Tim Neal is Head of Footprint at MHBS and spoke to HFM about how successful the scheme has been:

Rohini Corfield from Voluntary Action South Leicestershire (VASL), a regular visitor to Newcombe House, said: “VASL Community Champions has used Newcombe House to host training for our digital volunteers, and for team meetings.

“We find the facilities excellent and have always enjoyed a warm welcome. We appreciate having access to such a professional working space.”
