Massive Response To Scouts’ Clothing Collection

The 1st Bowdens Scouts are thanking all who donated to their latest collection of clothing and other goods.

A massive 2.7 tonnes of stuff was given, more than double the previous largest collection.

The donations filled the Scout Hut!

The group has raised thousands of pounds since launching the initiative to raise funds towards replacing its base in Little Bowden and other activities:

The next collection will be on Thursday July 2nd between 3.30pm and 4.30pm – just park up in the village hall car park on Little Bowden Green, empty your car onto the green and the Scouts will do the rest!
