Market Harborough’s Arts Fresco Postponed Following Queen’s Death

Arts Fresco which was due to be held in Market Harborough on Sunday has been postponed following the Queen’s death.
Organisers of the free street arts festival say they will reschedule the event for a date to be fixed.
Neil Kitson, Chair of the organising committee said: “In respect to Her Majesty and the national period of mourning, we have taken the decision to postpone this year’s festival to a more appropriate time.
“We thank all of the people involved in setting up the festival, as well as those who were planning to attend for their understanding at this difficult time for us all. We hope to announce the new date shortly.”
The new date will be announced following consultation with acts, local stakeholders and supporters.
Some other events due to take place this weekend have also been cancelled:
- Desborough 1940’s Day (due to be held tomorrow – Saturday)
