Market Harborough’s Animal Food Bank Delivers 2000th Meal

Market Harborough’s unique ‘Dogz Dinner’ Animal Food Bank has given out it 2000th meal.

The first facility of its kind in the country was launched four years ago, to help those struggling to afford to buy food for their cats and dogs.

Thanks to continued donations, it is now also supporting animal rescue centres in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.

Lisa Parratt runs Dogz Dinner with a team of volunteers.

She is thanking people for their support and is encouraging anyone who helps to contact them, rather than being forced to give-up their pets to an animal shelter:

Donations of dog and cat food can be placed in a donation bin outside 93 Meadow Street in Market Harborough.
