Market Harborough Restaurant Celebrates Asian Curry Awards Win

Staff at Everest Lounge in Market Harborough are celebrating winning a top accolade at the Asian Curry Awards.

The restaurant on St Mary’s Road was crowned ‘Nepalese Restaurant of the Year’ in the East Midlands category of the contest, dubbed the Curry Oscars.

The win was announced at a ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House on Sunday, following a public vote and judges visit.

Staff are thanking all who voted for the restaurant and say they are delighted with the win, which follows another award earlier this year, when chef Nyima Tsering was named Chef of The Year in the regional and national categories of the English Curry Awards.
