Market Harborough Fixers Unveil New Permanent Base – The ‘Repair Cabin’

Market Harborough Fixers – who repair broken items for free – now have a permanent base to work from.
Volunteers have unveiled the ‘Repair Cabin’, in the grounds of the Eco Village on St Mary’s Road, and will be manning it every Saturday, between 10am and 1pm.

Previously, before the pandemic, fixing sessions took place every three months at the Congregational Church.
The group repair everything from toasters to jewellery, that otherwise would be thrown away, and secured grants for the new home, which means they are now on the look out for more volunteers.
