Man Injured After Car Crashes & Sets On fire

A man was taken to hospital after a car crashed and set on fire near Great Bowden yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to Leicester Lane just after 3.15pm.
Police say the driver’s injuries are not believed to be ‘life-threatening’ or ‘life-changing’.
No other vehicles were involved.
The stretch of Leicester Lane between the B6047 and Frank Burditt Drive was closed for around three hours, while emergency services worked and the scene and the vehicle was recovered.
