Man Given Suspended Jail Term After Harborough Shop Burglaries

A man who smashed his way into two Market Harborough town centre businesses has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Nathan Harris stole chocolate worth more than £780 from Hotel Chocolat on the High Street, and a charity box from Pizzaman on Manor Walk, during break-ins in the early hours of March 27th.

The 49-year-old, of Edwin Court, Kettering Road, was arrested later that day after police identified him through CCTV enquiries.
Officers also recovered the stolen property from his address.
Harris pleaded guilty to burglary at Leicester Magistrates’ Court and was handed a four-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.
He has also been made subject to a drug rehabilitation order.
