Man Dies After Falling Into Canal At Welford Marina

A man has died after falling from a narrow boat into the canal at Welford Marina.
Emergency services were called to the area, off the A5199 Welford Road, just after 10.15am on Friday.
Leicestershire Police say the fire service recovered the man from the water, but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
A file is being prepared for the Coroner.
