Man Charged With Illegal Fox Hunting In Harborough Village

A man has been charged with illegal fox hunting in a Harborough village.
Sam Jones will appear in court next month following the alleged incident in Loddington on February 18th.
He is accused of hunting a wild mammal with dogs under Section 1 of the Hunting Act.
The 34-year-old, of Cottesmore Road in Ashwell, Rutland, has also been charged with common assault.
Leicestershire Police say that relates to a report of a horse colliding with a woman in her 60s, in a separate incident near Oakham a week earlier.
He is due to appear at Leicester Magistrates’ Court next month.
