Man Charged After Pick-Up Found Parked Precariously

A man has been charged with being drunk in charge of a motor vehicle after a pick-up truck was found parked precariously in Market Harborough.

Police were called to the junction of Leicester Road and Peter Callis Way just after 5am yesterday, where a Ford Ranger had come to rest on a raised grass area.

Officers say a 25-year-old man from Market Harborough was arrested and later charged.

He is due to appear before Leicester Magistrates’ Court next month.
