Long-Standing Derelict Site Set For Housing

A long-standing derelict site in Desborough is set to be redeveloped into new housing.
The announcement comes four years after Tesco pulled out of building a new supermarket on the former Lawrence’s factory site.
Kettering Council – who own it – have agreed to progress a housing-led redevelopment there and is now drawing up detailed proposals.
It follows confirmation it will receive a government grant for a third of the build costs.
