A long-serving Harborough councillor has resigned for ‘personal reasons’.
James Hallam, who was a member of the Conservative group, had represented the Glen Ward on Harborough District Council since 2011.
He also served time as Deputy Leader and Cabinet lead for finance.
Cllr Hallam’s resignation could trigger a by-election, with a notice of vacancy published on the Council’s website.
