Harborough Lions Launch Christmas Card Delivery Service

The Market Harborough Twenty 12 Lions Club has launched its annual Christmas card delivery service.

Volunteers will deliver cards to addresses in the town and the Bowdens for a minimum donation of 30p per card, with money raised going to good causes the group supports.

There are special post boxes for people to leave cards and donations, including in town centre supermarkets.

The volunteers delivered near 2,000 cards last year and raised over £750.

Sarah Hill is president of the club and spoke to HFM:

Postboxes can be found at Co-op and Tesco Express in the town centre, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose, Lloyds Bank, Farndon Fields Farm Shop, the Symington Building, St Dionysis Church and Market Harborough Medical Centre.

The last day to post is Thursday December 14th.
