Landowner Told To Clear Dumped Rubbish From Business Park

A land owner has been told to clear dumped rubbish from an area of a Market Harborough business park.

Harborough District Council has identified who is responsible for the land at Compass Point Business Park and asked them to remove the fly-tipping as soon as possible from the site off Northampton Road.

Waste including a fridge, children’s toys and bags of general rubbish was discovered strewn across a dead-end road last month

A council spokesperson said: “The waste is considered to be visually detrimental to the amenity of the area, therefore we have written to the landowner to request that the land be cleared as soon as possible.”
