Kibworth Fire Crew Aim to Conquer Mount Snowdon

Firefighters from Kibworth are preparing to climb Mount Snowdon is their full fire kit, to raise money for two charities close to their hearts.

The on-call crew based at the village fire station set a sponsorship target of £1,085 – £1 for each metre climbed to the summit of the mountain in North Wales – but have now raised over £1,500 for the Firefighters Charity and The Well community hub in Kibworth Beauchamp.

The Well, a registered charity operating a food bank, café, charity shop and other community help schemes, supports Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service’s aim of creating ‘safer people, safer places’.

The firefighters will take on the challenge on Friday and you can show your support HERE
