Key Planning Decisions To Be Considered Next Week

Written by on 25th May 2021

Delayed decisions on two key planning applications for Market Harborough will be considered next week.

Harborough District Council’s planning committee was put on hold earlier this month, after the government announced all council meetings must be held in person again, instead of ‘virtually’ on-line, which has been the case during the pandemic.

Councillors will now meet on Tuesday to consider plans to allow the former Angel Hotel to become a permanent base for Brook House College and if the first phase of a new housing estate off Kettering Road can go-ahead.

The meeting will take place in a Covid-safe manner within the Council Chamber at the Symington Building.

The Council says it will be open to the public, although there will be limited space, so anyone wishing to attend must apply for a seat in advance.

The meeting will also still be streamed on-line for people to watch from their homes.
