Improvements To Harborough Leisure Centre Move Closer

Major improvements to Harborough Leisure Centre are a step closer.
The District Council’s Cabinet last night approved plans to pave the way for investment in the facility of up to £8.5m.

The upgrades will form part of a new leisure contract taking effect in 2024, with providers tendering for the contract to make suggestions as to what they will be.
There will also be a refurbishment worth up to £1m at Lutterworth Sport Centre
The Council will initially fund the works, although the cost will be re-paid by the operator during the duration of the contract.
