Police arrested an illegal immigrant after stopping a car near Lutterworth last night.
Officers say the man, aged 29, originally from Romania, should have been deported two years ago and had no driving licence or insurance.
The car was stopped on Hunters Boulevard, Magna Park, after it activated an automatic number plate recognition system and a mobile fingerprint scanner was used to identify the man, from Coventry.
He was taken to a Police station before being handed over to Immigration officials.
