Hundreds Of Homes & Businesses Without Power

A power cut is affecting over 750 homes and businesses in parts of Market Harborough and Little Bowden.
The electricity went off just before 1pm.

The outage has forced the closure of the Sainsbury’s store and means traffic lights are not working at some road junctions.
National Grid Electricity Distribution say a ‘high voltage’ fault has caused the problem and engineers have been dispatched to the area.
It is estimating supplies will be restored by 2.30pm.
