Hundreds Affected By Power Cut

Over 700 homes and businesses in Market Harborough and Little Bowden were affected by a power cut this afternoon.

Electricity went off just after 3.30pm, including the Northampton Road area, and also caused the traffic lights at the Rockingham Road/Gores Lane junction to fail.

Western Power Distribution, who restored all supplies by 5.30pm, say a ‘high voltage cable fault’ was to blame and have apologised for the outage.
