Fox Cubs Recovering After Dramatic Rescue

Three fox cubs rescued in a dramatic operation are recovering well.

The animals are being cared for at Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital in Kibworth after becoming trapped between two buildings in Leicester last week.

Firefighters were called to the scene and had to remove brickwork to safely free the cubs during the rescue, assisted by the RSPCA.

One cub had significant injuries and needed veterinary treatment, while the other two suffered minor injuries.

All the cubs are doing well and are expected to remain in the care of the wildlife hospital for several months, while they recover and grow strong enough to survive in the wild:
