Delays In Town Centre Due To Drainage Works

Drivers are facing delays in Market Harborough town centre because of drainage works on the High Street.
Temporary traffic lights are in place while Leicestershire County Council carries out the work, with one lane closed.
The signals malfunctioned and remained on red in both directions last night and early this morning, causing additional congestion.
They are now working again and being controlled manually on site, according to the council.

Drivers are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys through the town centre.
The work is due to be completed on Friday.
