Have Your Say On Council Budget Proposals
Written by HFM News on 23rd January 2023
People are being asked to have their say on Harborough District Council’s budget proposals.
They include a Council Tax increase of 2.99%, which means a Band D household will pay just over £5 more a year, taking the yearly charge to £183.
The rise would generate an additional £357,000 for the authority, which provides services including bin collections, leisure and parks.
A fund of up to £20,000 is included in the budget, to support events across Harborough in May, to celebrate the King’s Coronation.
Residents can take part in a short on-line survey to give their views, before a final decision on the budget is taken at the end of February.
Have your say on the proposals here: www.harborough.gov.uk/budget-proposals until 9am on February 6th.
