Harborough’s Litter Wombles Celebrated With Post Box ‘Topper’

Market Harborough’s volunteer litter pickers have helped collect over 160,000 bags of rubbish.
The achievement of the Leicestershire Litter Wombles has been immortalised in a special woollen post box ‘topper’ on Coventry Road, as the group marks its 5th anniversary.
It was designed by the artist nicknamed the ‘Syston Knitting Banksy’ and features womble Orinoco next to a litter bin.
