Written by on 17th June 2022

The Red Arrows are due to fly over town today and one of the pilots will be Market Harborough’s very own Flight Lieutenant Patrick Kershaw.

Known as ‘Red 3,’ Flt Lt Kershaw was selected to join the elite RAF display team last year, after passing vigorous assessments to secure his place in the world-famous unit.

The distinctive red Hawk T1 jets are due over Market Harborough just before 3.10pm, after taking off from their base in Lincolnshire and passing over Tugby and Cranoe.

The team will then head over Great Oxendon, Clipston and Naseby, as they make their way to Bournemouth, ahead of a display at the Isle of Wight Festival this evening.
