Harborough Quiz Enthusiast To Appear On Mastermind

A Market Harborough man with a passion for quizzes will appear on TV’s Mastermind tonight.

Stuart Beard secured his spot in the famous black chair after impressing producers of the quiz show during the application process earlier this year.

Stuart, also known as the Harborough Handyman, has picked Jigoro Kano and the origins of Judo as his specialist subject, inspired by his son’s Judo sessions at Market Harborough Rugby Club.

He will face three other contestants on the show, hosted by Clive Myrie, airing on BBC Two at 7.30pm.
