Harborough neighbourhood grants launched

Harborough District Council has launched a £50,000 Neighbourhood Planning Grant Fund.
Parish councils, town councils and neighbourhood forums can apply for grants of up to £10,000.
The money can be used to prepare new neighbourhood plans or review existing ones.
Funding can support community engagement, technical studies, planning consultancy, public consultations and other planning work.
The council says neighbourhood plans help communities influence future growth and local development priorities.
The fund has been introduced after national neighbourhood planning grant funding was withdrawn in 2025.
