Harborough Museum Closes For Re-Display Work

Harborough Museum is closed for the next fortnight to allow for changes to the Hallaton Treasure displays including putting never-before seen items on show.
The collection has been the venue’s main attraction since going display in 2009 having been found nine years earlier near Hallaton, in one of the most important Iron Age discoveries in Britain.

It has not yet been revealed what new objects discovered at the site will be added to the exhibition as part of the re-display work.
It is currently made-up of over 5,000 silver and gold and a Roman helmet.
The museum based in the Symington Building will re-open on March 21st.
