Harborough Gets Comedy Fest Award

Harborough Council has been handed an award by the Leicester Comedy Festival, in recognition of the successful ‘Big Weekend’ event in February, which attracted hundreds of people.
It organised acts to perform at Harborough Market and other venues, including the Angel Hotel, Beerhouse and Duncan Murray Wines, so local people could enjoy a flavour of the festival without having to travel into the city.
Festival organisers have presented the Council with its ‘Liberty’ Award.
