Harborough District Vaccine Roll-out

A new milestone has been set in the COVID-19 vaccine roll-out across the Harborough District. Latest figures show over 220,000 jabs have been given since the major
vaccination campaign began.

Ninety per cent of the district’s population aged over 12 have had one dose, 87 per cent two and nearly three-quarters have had a third or
booster jab.

The number increased over the weekend during a mobile vaccine clinic at St Luke’s Hospital in Market Harborough.

The take-up of jabs here is one of the highest in the country and NHS bosses are praising people for coming forward and their staff involved
in the vaccination programme.
