Harborough Charity Launches New Mini Bus
Written by HFM News on 27th September 2021
A charity which helps people with mobility issues get out and about across Harborough now has the keys to a new mini-bus.
Harborough Community Bus received grants totalling £25,000 and used its own savings of £15,000 to buy the new state-of-the-art vehicle.
The group’s three mini-buses, driven by volunteer drivers, have also now all been given names – Louie, Val and the new one ‘Mo’ – named after people who have supported the charity over the years.
The Market Harborough-based Howard Watson Symington Memorial Charity provided £20,000 towards the new vehicle and £5,000 came from Harborough District Council’s Community Fund.
