Go-Ahead For New Joules Store

Joules has been given the go-ahead to open a new flagship store in a former bank in Market Harborough.

The town-based fashion retailer has been granted planning permission to convert the ground floor of the former Lloyds Bank building, on the corner of Church Square.

Joules will re-locate from its long-standing shop on the High Street towards the end of September, once the new shop is fitted out.

When the plan was first announced, a spokesperson for Joules told HFM: “The Joules family has been in the same Market Harborough store location for over 40 years and it’s been a huge part of our fabulous story.

“Now back at the helm of the business, Tom Joule saw the Lloyds Bank building as the perfect space for the brand to continue its success in the town centre.”

The premises have been empty since Lloyds closed the branch at the end of March.
