Go-Ahead For New Homes On Former Factory Site

The go-ahead been given for 35 new homes to be built on the site of a former shoe factory in Desborough town centre.
The development on the former Dunkelman and Son site in Gold Street will see buildings demolished to make-way for two, three and four-bedroomed houses.

The area has stood vacant since the company relocated to the edge of the town in 2017.
North Northamptonshire Council has granted planning permission for Snowdon Homes to build 21 three-bedroom, 13 two-bedroom and one four-bedroom homes.
The conversion of the Manor House on the site into apartments is subject to a separate planning application.
