The funeral has taken place for a much-loved mother and daughter from Desborough who tragically died in a house fire.
30-year-old Emma Conn and her four-year old daughter Mayci Fox died in the blaze in Rushton on March 28th, alongside 23-year-old Louie Thorn.
Mourners wore orange, pink and blue – Emma and Mayci’s favourite colours – at the service in Kettering yesterday.

Mayci was described as a ‘wild and loving whirlwind’ who was ‘always smiling, being happy and cheeky’ in a family tribute, while Emma, who owned The Lash Lounge and Beauty Salon in Desborough, was remembered as a successful businesswoman who had a ‘real lust for life’.
Tributes to Louie, from Rushton, described him as the ‘perfect boy’ who ‘lit up every room with his contagious smile.’

Police determined the fire was ‘non-suspicious’ and an inquest into the deaths was opened and adjourned last month.
