Fundraising Drive Launched For School Sensory Gardens
Written by HFM News on 17th January 2022
A £5,000 fundraising drive is underway so sensory gardens can be created at two Harborough schools.
The ‘trekathon’ will see pupils at Great Bowden Primary Academy and Ridgeway Primary Academy sponsored to walk the equivalent 874-mile distance from Land’s End to John O’Groats, over the next few weeks.
Staff and governors will also complete a 50-kilometre walk in London in March, to support of the cause.
Libby Harris is the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator for both schools and spoke to Hfm:

School staff Emily Cave, Libby Harris and Chela Grainge will trek round London to support the cause
