Fundraising Drive Launched After Desborough House Fire

A fundraising drive has been launched after a man lost nearly all his possessions in a house fire in Desborough early on Sunday.
The New Street home of Dave Ward was left badly damaged after the blaze broke out just after 5am – the rear of the property completely destroyed.
He managed to get out uninjured, although sadly his pet cat died.
Friends at the Desborough Services Club – where Dave is a board member – have set-up a Just Giving page in a bid to raise money for him.
Donations of clothing, furniture and cash are also being accepted at the club.
