Former Harborough MP Set For House Of Lords Position

Former Harborough MP Edward Garnier has been nominated to be a new Conservative Peer.

He’s one of 9 Tories set to sit in the House of Lords if the list is approved by The Queen.

Sir Edward stepped down as Harborough’s MP at last year’s General Election after 25 years.
