A man jailed for causing the collapse of a Market Harborough holiday firm has had two and a half years added to his sentence, for stealing more than £800,000 from another company.
Jamie Tann, 39, admitted three counts of theft and one of fraud when he appeared before Mold Crown Court in Wales.
He hid the fact he was under investigation for fraud at Diamond Shortbreak Holidays, when he was appointed finance director of a building projects company in Wrexham in October 2017.
Just seven months earlier Tann stole over £600,000 from the Harborough firm, where he was also finance director, forcing it into administration, resulting in 78 jobs losses and 10,000 holidays being cancelled.
The new jail term will run consecutively to his current sentence of three year, four months, handed down earlier this year, which he is serving at HMP Leicester.
Tann was also ordered to repay £470,336 to CPP Building Products under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
