Flood Alert For Welland Valley

A flood alert has been issued for the Welland Valley after recent rainfall caused river levels to rise.
The Environment Agency warns that low-lying land, roads, and pathways near the River Welland around Market Harborough, and the River Jordan in Braybrooke and Little Bowden, could be affected.
Residents are advised to avoid walking, cycling, or driving through floodwater, and steer clear of low-lying riverside roads.
