Fixers Cafe To Launch!

A brand new event where people can get things fixed for free instead of throwing them away is taking place in Great Oxendon on Sunday.
The ‘fixers café’ could become a regular event if it proves a success.
The idea is thought to originate from Canada and is growing ever popular in Great Britain, with fixers cafes popping up all around the country.
A team of volunteer ‘fixers’ will be on hand to try and repair everything from damaged clothes to electricals.

The event is on at the Canvass Cafe, located at Waterloo Cottage Farm, off the A508, from 3pm til 6pm.
