Firefighters Raise Over £5,000 in Memorial Walk

Firefighters from Billesdon have raised over £5,500 after completing a 150-mile walking challenge in full kit to honour a much-loved colleague.

Over ten days, the team visited all 20 fire stations across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland in memory of Watch Manager Jon Partridge, who died suddenly in February aged 38.

Funds will be shared between Jon’s family and the Fire Fighters’ Charity, with the crew thanking everyone who supported and donated.
