Firefighters Battle Seven-Acre Field Blaze

Around seven acres of fields have been left damaged after a large fire between Desborough and Braybrooke.
It took firefighters over three hours to extinguish the fire, adjacent to Desborough Road, which involved stubble ablaze.
Crews from Market Harborough, Desborough, Rothwell and Kettering were called to the scene just after 1pm yesterday.
Firefighters used hose reels and beaters to tackle the blaze, which was accelerated by the wind.
It is believed a piece of farming machinery which overheated started the fire.
