Fire Damages House In Fleckney

A fire at a house in Fleckney started in an electric meter box.
Three fire crews were called to deal with the blaze at the property on Kilby Road at 11.30am on Saturday.
The occupants got out of the house prior to firefighters getting to the scene and were not injured.
The fire left the living room area of the house damaged and Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service say firefighters used breathing apparatus while extinguishing the flames and also checked a neighbouring property for potential fire spread.
National Grid were requested to attend to isolate the electricity supply.
Fire crews from Market Harborough, Wigston and Southern fire stations attended the incident.
