Festive Road-Safety Campaign Targets Drink & Drug Drivers

Police have launched a campaign to cut the number of people killed or seriously injured by drink and drug drivers over the festive period.
Increased patrols will take place on roads across Leicestershire and Northamptonshire, with officers reminding motorists of the consequences of driving under the influence.
There were 240 arrests across both counties last December and there have already been several arrests in the first few days of this year’s campaign.
