Fence & Hedge Fire Believed Accidental

A fire in the back garden of a house in Rothwell is believed to have been started accidentally.
Firefighters from Desborough were called to a property on Glendon Road shortly before 5pm yesterday.

They found a small quantity of fencing and a hedge on fire and used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.
Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service says the crew returned to station shortly before 6pm after giving safety advice to the homeowner.
